Earlier this week, Mahima Chaudhary went public with her cancer diagnosis and ongoing treatment.
The actress, who’s presently busy shooting with Anupam Kher for his new film, revealed in a video clip – which was shot by Kher himself, how she’s been silently battling breast cancer and has kept it private all this while.
Despite losing her hair, Mahima has apparently finished shooting a project with Kher, and as she spoke about her difficult journey thus far – she could not hold back her emotions.
As soon as her emotional video went public, the actress received an outpouring level of love and support from her well-wishers and colleagues.
Even some names from Bollywood have also reacted and have stood by the actress.
“More power to you” – Genelia wrote, extending her kind words also to Anupam Kher, “Sir you are always amazing and someont that person to lean on”
Soni Razdan wrote – “Wow what an empowering story and thank you Anupam and Mahima for letting us hear this. Lots of love and good health to you… you’re such an inspiration”
Chunky Panday also left some positive words in her video saying – “With you forever my supergirl”
While movie critic Rajeev Masand wrote, “Strongest and loveliest girl I know”
