The relations between Govinda and his nephew Krushna Abhishek have not been good from some time. The popular ‘Mama-Bhaanja’ duo have not been in good terms.
It has been very public in the recent months that the wives of the duo, have been engaging in a war-of-words because of some strong differences, which has caused a major rift in the family.
Govinda recently appeared in the Maniesh Paul podcast, and responded to Krushna Abhishek’s tearful apology that he made on the same platform – a while ago. Govinda did not hold back while putting across his opinion on the issue as he pointed out that Krushna “thinks he has become too big”.
Not only that, he also accused him of lying that he does not go to hospital to meet his children.
Govinda said:
“He has assumed and presumed that something wrong is happening in his life due to me.” Further in the Podcast when Maniesh told Govinda that Krushna was really apologetic at his show toward him, Govinda said “Then let the love be seen off-camera too. He’s a well brought-up boy, that shows. But he needs to know that he is being used by writers, and that there is a limit to being used.”
He further said, “Krushna kept mentioning in interviews that he never came to visit his newborn kids in the hospital, when, in fact, he went four times, but was told that he couldn’t meet the babies. He assumed that it was just a precautionary measure.”
The superstar actor called his nephew Krushna ‘a good boy’.
“Keep working hard, there is no problem, relax, may God bless you,” he said.”
Some time ago in the same podcast Krushna Abhishek talked openly about his relations with Govinda and asked for forgiveness in while becoming tearful:
“Whenever I say something to media, it is cut pasted and shown on their social media. Chi chi mama I miss you and I love you a lot. Please do not pay heed to what you read in the newspaper or what you hear in social media. The thing I miss the most is that I want my babies to play with my mama. I know he misses me too. I know that.”
The relations between the two may have become more public as Krushna has also been seen cracking jokes about it at The Kapil Sharma show, in which he performs regularly.
Although the differences between their wives – Sunita Ahuja and Karishma seem to have worsened over the course of the last few months, but we still certainly hope that the two families can get together and find some common ground soon.
