KK’s Daughter Remembers Him On ‘Father’s Day’, Shares Old Pictures Of Family, ‘Miss eating with you, holding your hand’

KK’s untimely demise was a big shock for the industry.

The singer was just 53 when he succumbed to a cardiac arrest just hours after his performance in a overtly-crowded venue in Kolkata. And while the sadness of his untimely death has taken over fans and his music industry colleagues, the greatest pain is always faced by those near and dear to him.

The celebrated singer’s daughter, Taamara, took to her social media handle to pay homage to her late dad on the occasion of father’s day.

Sharing some never-before-seen pictures from their younger years, Taamara wrote a heartfelt note for her late father, as she reflected on how she misses the simply things like – ‘eating with her father, or holding his hand.’

“I would take the pain of losing you a 100 times, if it meant having you as my dad even for one second. Life is dark without you dad. You were the cutest most loving dad, who’d come home after a gig and wait to come lie down and give us cuddles.”

She added:

“I miss you, I miss eating with you, I miss our laughing sessions, I miss our secret snacking rituals in the kitchen, I miss our farting competitions, I miss showing you my music and little voice note ideas, I miss your reaction dad. I miss holding your hand.”

Here’s the beautiful post Taamara shared on Instagram:

Thoughts continue to go out to KK’s family and friends.

His music, legacy and memories live on.
