Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt finally tied the knot earlier this week, in the presence of a few of their close friends and relatives.
However, there was one personality from the Kapoor family that was constantly being missed and remembered during the entire celebration – the late Rishi Kapoor.
The iconic actor of Indian cinema, and Ranbir Kapoor’s father, passed away in the year 2020 after a battle with cancer, and to pay homage to his memory and to keep him included in the entire celebration, Ranbir was seen holding an old picture of him during his Mehndi celebrations.
The ‘Barfi’ actor was all smiles, surrounded by his family, as he donned a pink traditional kurta during the pre-wedding festivities, and included his late father in all of that, for company.
Needless to say, the emotional ode to his late father, touched the hearts of Ranbir’s many fans online.
The actor was seen in an ultra-happy mood, making the most of the occasion with his family….
It was an out and out familial ceremony, and the Kapoors came together for a bright, fun yet understated celebration.
