Ever since the passing of the great Lata Mangeshkar, tributes are constantly flowing-in from all quarters for the legendary songbird.
The singer passed away at the age of 92, earlier in February, after a month-long health-related battle at Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital.
Her death has been covered widely on national as well as international outlets, and her impact in the world of music has resonated with the number of homages that have come in her direction.
The latest addition to the same is one from – Alka Yagnik.
Ms. Yagnik – who’s an award-winning vocalist in her own right, and ruled the world of playback singing in Hindi films back in the 90’s, recently gave some stellar renditions of old Lata Mangeshkar classics.
Alka Yagnik sang Lata Mangeshkar’s famous tune – Rahe Na Rahe Hum, with the latter’s images displayed in the background on-stage, giving everyone a major dose of nostalgia and making all of us miss her even more:
