They say comedy is one of the toughest genres to ace for most actors. Comic timing and the organic way of making people laugh with your dialogue delivery is a gift – that not every actor is blessed with.
Actor Rajpal Yadav, is one that has been gifted with that in abundance.
The 50 year old has been popularly seen in some of the most hilarious comedies of Bollywood in the last 20 years, be it ‘Bhool Bhuliyaan’ or ‘Hungama’.
Rajpal Yadav’s act has never failed to tickle the funny bone of his audiences and thus he’s developed quite a cult following over the years.
The actor is now set to be seen in a challenging role of a transgender in his upcoming film, entitled ‘Ardh’.
The film also stars Rubina Dilaik, Hiten Tejwani and Kulbhushan Kharbanda, and according to reports, it will focus on the story of Rajpal’s character – a transgender, who comes to Mumbai city, with dreams of becoming a film actor.
‘Ardh’ will have an OTT release, and viewers can most likely expect to see it by the end of 2022.
It is safe to say, Rajpal Yadav looks poised to surprise us with his talent – outside of comedies, yet again, the way he did with Main, Meri Patni Aur Woh back in 2005.
