Chhattisgarh Man Walks 10kms With Body Of Daughter On Shoulder, Distressing Images Go Viral

In a truly disturbing and heart-wrenching visuals, a man was seen carrying the dead body of his daughter in his arms, after she passed away at a young age.

The shocking incident has come to light from Chhattisgarh’s Surguja district where the man, named – Iswar Das, walked 10 KM – carrying the dead body of his recently deceased daughter.



Iswar had brought his daughter Surekha to the Lakhanpur Community Health Centre early on Friday, after she fell sick, but the girly tragically died during her treatment.

Iswar then took off with the body of his little girl and the disturbing pictures and videos of his ordeal started circulating on social media.

It is being reported that Iswar took with his little girl’s body before the vehicle that was supposed to carry it arrived at the scene. The staff of the hospital is now being blamed for being unable to stop him or persuade him to wait.

After the video went viral, Chhattisgarh health minister TS Singh Deo said:

“The health personnel who were on duty should have persuaded the family to wait for the vehicle. They should have ensured such things did not happen.”



The doctors of the hospital clarified that they did try to convey to Iswar and his family that the hearse will arrive soon to carry the body, but after 2-3 hours of his daughter’s demise, Iswar waited no longer and left with the body in his arms.

Truly heartbreaking.

There could not be a more gut-wrenching and distressing sight than this.
