In a viral video shared earlier this month, a man was seen emotionally responding to someone who called him ‘paagal (mad)’ for helping a stray dog.
The man in question, can be seen holding a pup in his arms, while asking those around him if he’s mad for helping a powerless, innocent animal.
“Main pagal hun, tumhe main pagal dikhaayi de raha hun, unbolte pashu ki seva karni chahiye humesha”
The other man, who mocked him in the first place – can then be seen taunting him to take the dog home, if he cares so much. The good Samaritan’s humble response yet again, wins hearts.

The video went viral on social media, for the unidentified man’s heartwarming response to those who mocked his love for animals.
It later caught the attention of actress Anushka Sharma, who’s also known to be quite an animal lover.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the actress wrote –
“Pagal toh vo hain jo insaniyat nahi samjhein. Aap toh..”
Needless to say, the man’s popularity has risen several folds after Anushka praised him for it.
Let us hope it inspires other people to continually help our four-legged friends, without any shame.
