‘Even Superstars Have To Work To Survive’ – Says Alia Bhatt On Bollywood

Alia Bhatt says there’s a lot of struggle in Bollywood even for big superstars.

The actress who’s gearing up for the release of her much anticipated and ambitious film – Gangubai, recently lent her two cents on the never-ending debate about nepotism and the privilege star-kids have in the world of showbiz.

During a recent interaction with RJ Siddharth Kanan, Alia opened up about how survival is a constant effort in Bollywood, even for big stars.

Here’s what she stated:

“There are too many factors. The main thing is that you put your life and soul everything into working, and that’s the only reason you’ll survive.”

“hard work, consistency, and connect with the audience” she added.

“When I see superstars, they are very normal, not creating a big fuss or whatever. They are stars for the audience, but at the end of the day, when they come on the sets, they are working.”

Calling Bollywood “most brutal industry,” Alia added: “You won’t survive more than six months or a year.”
