Lata Mangeshkar is still battling for recovery in the ICU of Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital.
The legendary songstress who was admitted to emergency this past week, has been kept under observation by doctors after suffering from a bout of pneumonia.
The 92 year old songbird has remained in ICU since, although earlier this week her niece had affirmed that her condition was stable.
Now in the latest update of her health, the singer is still in the ICU and is being kept under observation, due to her age. A doctor who’s treating her in the hospital was quoted telling the following to a news agency, asking people to ‘pray for her recovery’:
‘She continues to be in the ICU under observation. We have to wait and watch. Pray for her recovery. She will continue to remain in the hospital.’
