After the glitz and glam of Bollywood weddings, another showbiz-related union took place earlier this month and that was in the family of acclaimed film-composer, A.R. Rahman.
Rahman’s daughter Khatija got engaged to Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed earlier this week, and shared the news with her followers on Instagram.
Khatija, who’s 25, shared an image from her engagement ceremony – in which she was seen wearing a pink ensemble paired with a matching facial mask. She did not share an image of Riyasdeen from the event, but instead chose to pair her image with a black-and-white of him from a shoot.
Riyasdeen is an audio engineer, who works in showbiz.
Announcing the news of their union, Khatija wrote:
“With the blessings of the Almighty I’m happy to announce to you all my engagement with Riyasdeen Shaik Mohamed @riyasdeenriyan, an aspiring entrepreneur and a wizkid audio engineer. The engagement happened on 29th December, my birthday in the presence of close family and loved ones. #KhatijaRahmanEngagementWithRiyasdeen #ThankYou.”
