After Son’s Death, Mother-In-Law Gets Daughter-In-Law Educated, Employed & Remarried

In an inspiring example of taking care of one’s daughter-in-law just like your own daughter, a mother-in-law from Rajasthan looked after and rebuilt the life of her son’s wife, after he tragically passed away shortly after marriage.

The heartwarming instance has been reported by Dainik Bhasker, which details how Kamala Devi – who hails from Sikar, Rajasthan – not only educated her daughter-in-law, Sunita, after the untimely passing of the latter’s husband – but also helped her get a job and find a new life partner again.

It was just after 6 months of marriage that Sunita’s husband and Kamala Devi’s son, tragically died of a brain stroke. It was that that Kamala Devi – who herself is a teacher in a government school, took matters in her own hand and started focusing on rebuilding her daughter-in-law’s life.

Kamala decided to educate Sunita further, pushing her to pursue her Masters and then a B.Ed degree. The educated helped Sunita get a job as a teacher eventually.

Sunita’s husband passed away in 2016, and for the next 5 years, Kamala Devi took care of her – loving Sunita more than her own sons and helping her rebuild her life. She then got her married to a man named – Mukesh who works as CAG auditor in Bhopal.

Not only that, Kamala even refused to take any dowry when she got her son married to Sunita and similarly did not participate in offering any dowry to Mukesh when she got her daughter-in-law remarried.

Truly a heartwarming story and an amazing selfless example of taking care of one’s daughter-in-law like your own daughter.
