One of the most anticipated sports biopic – ’83’ is all set for a release, and the hype around it seems certain to make sure that its going to be quite a theatrical event.
The Ranveer Singh starred, co-produced by his wife and actress Deepika Padukone and filmmaker Kabir Khan, revolves around the time of India’s first major victory during the 1983 cricket world cup, that brought home the trophy – in the captainship of the legendary – Kapil Dev.
Now ahead of the film’s release, the high-octane dramatic trailer of the film has been showcased across the Burj Khalifa tower – an act that is part of the ongoing promotions of the film in Dubai.
The entire team of the film was there to witness the event, including Kapil Dev – and all could be seen blasting with joy and getting emotional after seeing it getting played across the iconic building.
