Here Are 3 ‘Sankalps’ PM Modi Requested From Indians During His Impactful Speech In Kashi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent most of this past week in Kashi, inspecting the development work done in the place and also to inaugurated the much anticipated Kashi Vishvanath corridor.

During the high-octane inaugural ceremony, the prime minister also addressed the nation with an inspiring and impactful speech.

The PM requested the citizens to take three ‘vows’ to make a better India, namely – ‘Swachchhta’, ‘Srijan’ & ‘Atmanirbharta’ – meaning, ‘Cleanliness’, ‘Creation’ and ‘efforts to create a self-sustained’ India.



Mr. Modi also reflected on all the cleanliness drives that have been going on across multiple states, insisting the common people to partake in the same as well, while also stressing on the importance of ‘innovating’ and ‘self-reliance’ among the youth.

“In all parts of the country, infrastructure & circuits are being developed by keeping focus on the pilgrimage sites like Ayodhya-Janakpuri, Ramayan Circuit, Buddha Circuit, Kartarpur Corridor, Hemkund Sabib, Chaar Dhaam in Uttarakhand and also in several other states including Kerala, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Telangana and West Bengal”



The Prime Minister also spoke about bringing back hundreds of years old idol of goddess Annapurna back from Canada after 108 years:

“We are bringing back our lost glory. The idol of Goddess Annapurna, which was stolen 100 years ago, had returns to Kashi and with her blessings nobody stayed empty stomach even during a global health crisis.”
