Anushka Sharma has maintained how she aims to maintain the privacy of her familial life and particularly that of her newborn daughter – Vamika.
Anushka and husband, cricketing ace, Virat Kohli – have always shied away from sharing pictures and images of their newborn, unlike some other Bollywood celebs – who are all for it, and have even avoided bringing her to places where she might be clicked by Papz.
Recently the actress and producers thanked photographers and shutterbugs of the Paparazzi for respecting the couple’s decision to not popularize the face of their newborn. She took to her social media handle, sharing a lengthy post thanking the media for helping her maintain the privacy of her newborn.
“We are deeply thankful to the Indian paparazzi and most of the media fraternity for not publishing pictures/videos of Vamika. As parents, our request to the few who carried the images/video will be to support us going forward. We seek privacy for our child and would like to do our best to give her a chance to live her life freely away from media and social media. As she is older we cannot restrict her movement and hence your support is needed so kindly practice restraint in the matter.”
She further added:
“A special thank you to fans clubs and people of the internet for going out of your way to not post images.”
