Manushi Chillar is set to make her debut in the Hindi film industry, and her first project is going to be one starring none other than – Akshay Kumar.
Teaser for Akshay’s mega-budget period drama, ‘Prithviraj’ has just been unveiled and it promises to be a high-octane venture.
Produced under Yash Raj banner, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood in prominent roles, but will primarily focus on the heroic tale of the legendary Prithviraj Chauhan, played by Akshay.
Chillar, who had won the Miss World title for India in the year 2017, will be seen in her debut film role, playing – Sanyogita, the wife of Prithviraj and the daughter of Gahadavala king – Jaichand.

Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film is slated for a release on 21 January 2022, around the time of Republic Day.
