Despite the nationwide lockdown, 2021 has already seen a string of some pretty fantastic films, that were waiting to be released – and finally hit the silver screen, as things started opening-up across states.
While not everything could get a big-screen theatrical release, still plenty of actors delivered some standout performances in the year. While it still remains to be seen what the remaining months have to offer, with plenty of big releases lined-up.
Looking back at work that has been seen thus far, which performance would you personally call ‘the best’ – among actresses in Hindi films.
While Kangana Ranaut gave a stellar, applause-worthy performance in Thalaivii – transforming into the late Jayalalitha, Vidya Balan subtly went into the skin of her character in thriller-drama, ‘Sherni’.
Similarly we had Taapsee Pannu delivering a pretty solid performance in Rashmi Rocket, while Sanya Malhotra too gave the performance of her career in Pagglait.
