Kangana Ranaut Announces New Release Date For ‘Thalaivi’, Movie Finally Coming Out On 10 Sept

Kangana Ranaut’s much anticipated and highly ambitious project ‘Thalaivi’ is finally seeing the light of the day.

The movie – which was already through with it’s filming, was awaiting a theatrical release – which was halted due to the ongoing health crisis in the country.

As the lock down is slowly lifting away, the actress and her team have unveiled a new release date for the film, after it was initially postponed.

The movie – based on the life of former actress and Tamilnadu CM Jayalalitha, will now be released on the 10th of September 2021.

The actress took to her social media to announce the news. “The story of this iconic personality deserves to be witnessed only on the BIG SCREEN!” – she proclaimed.

Since it is a major project from the superstar, she specifically aimed for it to be released on theaters instead of heading straight to streaming platforms, which seems to be the fate of a lot of movies these days.

Being her most ambitious project after Manikarnika, it would be interesting to see how it fares with the audiences – as it always is with Kangana Ranaut movies.
