Anushka Sharma is no doubt one of the most popular actresses of mainstream Hindi cinema today.
The ‘Pari’ star who kickstarted her career with Yash-Raj-backed projects like – Band Baaja Baraat and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, was actually gearing to play another role before these two films fell into her kitty.
Anushka had in fact auditioned for the role played by Kareena Kapoor in Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots, before it eventually went to the latter.
An audition clip of the actress from the time is now going viral, showcasing the then-budding starlet trying her luck in this Aamir Khan venture.
