Mumbai Woman Punches BMC Worker After Being Fined For Not Wearing A Mask [Video]

In a shocking incident a Mumbai woman reportedly punched a BMC worker, after the said worker fined her for not wearing a mask in public.

A video of the said incident has now gone viral.

It shows the female traveling in a rickshaw without a mask towards the Mahavir Nagar traffic signal on Kandivali Link Road. It is then she is stopped by a BMC worker for not wearing a mask and is asked to pay a fine of Rs. 200.

The argument between the two then escalates, following which the woman punches one of the BMC officials.



Prashant Kamble, who’s a BMC supervisor, stated the following in a statement:

“The video of a woman marshal being assaulted is said to be of Kandivali. Charkop Police are investigating it.”

 

Can’t we all just follow the guidelines pertaining to cleanliness, social distancing and wearing a mask, without causing such havocs?
