In today’s viral video we’re bringing you an artist from Nagaland, who has recreated a classic track from the late and great Kishore Kumar, and brought him to life again.
The track entitled – ‘Shing Nei Tobu Naam Tar Singha’ was featured in the 1958 movie Lukochuri, which also starred him as the leading actor opposite actresses – Mala Sinha and Anita Guha.
Now a singer named NK Naga has rendered a soulful version of this golden-era classic, which people on the internet seem to be loving already.
Speaking on his tribute to the great icon of playback singing, Naga was quoted saying the following to Nagaland Express:
“Kishore Da is my inspiration and by singing Bengali I’m trying to express my love for Bengalis.”
