Konkona Sen Sharma got emotional after coming across a tribute mural of late star Irrfan Khan in Bandra.
The actress, who starred alongside Khan in films like ‘Life in a.. Metro’, ‘Deadline’, ‘Talvar’ – among several others, remembered the celebrated actor with a heartwarming post on her social media.
The beautiful portrait of Irrfan is apparently drawn somewhere in Bandra, which got Konkona all up in her feelings.
“Today in Bandra, my heart stopped. #irrfankhan”. – she stated, along with a picture of the said mural.
Konkona wasn’t the only one touched by the beautiful tribute, right on the ‘streets of Mumbai’. His former co-star Nimrat Kaur also shared a picture of the same previously, remembering the seasoned actor in a touching post:
“Chanced upon this arresting mural in Ranwar Village on an errand run today. Incidentally only a few houses down the one where Saajan Fernandes’s house was located in The Lunchbox.”
She further added:
“Such an ominous yet celebratory confluence of life and art. My heart felt compliments to the artist @bollywoodartproject and a million thoughts and loving prayers for this immortal soul. All that came to the mind was, who knew…#IrrfanForever”
