Sunny Leone Says She Was Bullied As a Kid, “It has carried through my entire life”

Sunny Leone might seem like one of the boldest stars of the present-day movie scene, but the actress has had her own set of demons to deal with it.

And one of them is – being bullied in childhood.

The Ragini MMS actress recently spoke about her past experience with being bullied due to her appearance as a kid, stating how it has carried her through her entire life and still haunts her every now and then.

In a recent interview with Times Of India, Sunny recollected how it was always a problem being the ‘differently looking girl’ out in the west and becoming the victim of someone’s insecurities.

Here is what she was quoted telling the publication:

“I wasn’t bullied to the degree that I think some people are there was some bullying, I was a light-skinned Indian girl with black, dark hair on her arms and legs and Ace and very awkward looking not very dressed well. So yeah, there was some bullying, it’s not fun.”

She further added:

“Some of that bullying has carried through my entire life which is not a great feeling. But I think, for those people out there. Bullying is like a circle, it goes around So usually when we see people who are bullied, they end up usually bullying somebody else. So, if you are being bullied maybe we can make a conscious effort to not bully and treat others maybe how we are being treated also taking a stand for yourself, usually, bullies are cowards.”

But like most people, Sunny has always stated that all her experiences in life have helped her become the person that she is today.
