Shiv Sena Leader Sanjay Raut Calls Kangana Ranaut ‘Haraamkhor Ladki’ [Video]

The war of words between Kangana Ranaut and Shiva Sena is getting uglier by the day.

After Kangana Ranaut had stated that no one can stop her from coming to Mumbai, alleging that some people have made her feel as if Mumbai is not in India but in POK, wherein she has to feel insecure about her own safety, an enraged Sanjay Raut has been heard in video using profane and derogatory language for the actress.

The Shiv Sena party leader was being quizzed by a reporter from News Nation, and addressed questions pertaining to what their party and party supporters might do, when the actress arrives in Mumbai.

While being questioned if they’d do anything against the law and order of the country to stop Ranaut, Sanjay responded with ‘Kya aap us Haraamkhor ladki ki vakeeli karte ho’ – which instantly sparked outrage online, as people called out the politician for using profane language publicly against a woman.

Watch the shocking video below:

Responding to the same Kangana also cited how there are a lot of Hindi film industry celebs who would choose to remain silent now for what she has been called, and how she has previously been called bad names by her peers, over the course of years.

“In 2008 Movie Mafia declared me a Psycho, in 2016 they called me a Witch and Stalker in 2020 Maharashtra Minister publicity gave me the title of Haramkhor Ladki, because I said after a murder I feel unsafe in Mumbai, where are INTOLERANCE debate warriors?” she tweeted.

Meanwhile, Kangana has received support from fellow actress Dia Mirza, who stated that one may choose to calmly agree or disagree with another person’s opinions, but using the kind of language Sanjay Raut used – is not acceptable and that he should apologise.

Kangana had previously stated how expressing her disappointment with the government of a state doesn’t make her a hater of it’s history. She also cited example of her movie ‘Manikarnika’, wherein, she stated how she had celebrated Maratha history and paid tribute to Shivaji Rao.

There’s no doubt that the mainstream Hindi film industry suffers from some major evils.

But can we please do this in a more civilised manner, wherein we don’t have to turn this important discussion into a joke, especially considering the fact, that it is taking at the brink of a young star’s death, who was taken from us so soon?
