Irrfan Khan’s death earlier this year, was one of the most tragic demises in recent showbiz history.
Not only because how suddenly the actor passed away, and how much he still had to offer, but also because of the void he left behind, being one of the most talented and critically acclaimed artists of the Hindi film industry.

Babil Khan, the elder son to the late actor, still mourns the loss of his father’s presence in his life.
The 21 year old has previously spoken about the impact of his father in Indian cinema and also the immense influence he had on his own life.
Yet again, Babil recently took to his Instagram handle, reflecting on his life without the presence of his father, while extending his gratitude to his mother and younger brother Ayaan Khan.
Addressing both of his parents, along with a picture of himself with his mother, here’s what Babil wrote:
“You told me to take care of her but it turned out that she took care of us. Mamma, that light house in the storm, I hope I can give you the world to travel, and everything more that you desire, there is nothing left for me to live now but you and Ayaan.”
