Kangana Ranaut’s Mother: “I Am Proud That My Daughter Has Always Stood With The Truth”

Kangana Ranaut’s mother appeared before the media, after the actress gained nationwide sympathy over the demolition of her Mumbai office by the hands of BMC.

The star – was faced with the sad fate of her newly built office for Manikarnika productions, partly taken down – due to an alleged illegal construction around the premises.

People were quick to point out that it can’t just be a ‘co-incidence’ the the same happened, in the midst of her heated exchange of words with Maharashtra government spokesperson – Sanjay Raut and her recent allegations against the Mumbai police, pertaining to the ongoing investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.



Within an immediate notice, BMC arrived at the place with bulldozers and hammers and started breaking down it’s front walls, before the actress could arrive at the spot – from her home town in Himachal Pradesh.

The act was called by many as an ‘abuse of power’ and a unprecedented showcase of ‘personal vendetta’ by a leading political party, although Sanjay Raut backed out from having any hand in the same.

Now her mother, has come out in support of her, stating that not only is she proud of her the actress for standing up for the truth, but also thankful to the home ministry for ensuring her safety, amidst all the threats she received after calling out the Shiv Sena and Mumbai police.



Here’s what she stated on the same:

“The blessings of the entire country are with Kangana. I am proud that my daughter has always stood for the truth. I thank Union home minister Amit Shah. We are not even associated with that party (BJP), we were from the Congress… My grandfather-in-law was a member of the Congress party. Even though they knew that we were from the Congress from the beginning, they supported us.”

Kangana later shared the video herself, and jokingly said that she was surprised to receive that kind of support from her mom, as she was expected to hear ‘I told you so’, instead.
