“Just A Generation Before, They Were Dancing In Dawood’s Parties,” Kangana Ranaut’s Explosive New Interview with Times Now

Kangana Ranaut appeared for a special edition of ‘Frankly Speaking’ on Times Now, with hose Navika Kumar – and boy, she did not hold back.

The firecracker actress, who’s never really been afraid to speak her mind, touched on every little topic – ranging from her clash with Shiv Sena, her association with the BJP, her alleged political alliances, her broken office in Mumbai and her colleages.

She was also quizzed about the recent backlash received from Jaya Bachchan and Urmila Mantodkar, and she responded to those questions with some quote-worthy answers.

They broke my house in broad daylight and wrote the headline ‘Ukhaad Diya’ – why Jaya Bachchan ji cannot see that? She doesn’t want to see it. Our blood is like water [for them].

The actress, shockingly, spoke-up about the culture of casting-couches, alleging how common it has been for female actors to go through the beds of their heroes on sets, in order to climb up the ladder of success. She also talked about the mistreatment and sexist behaviour against female stars, on movie sets.

The expectation from a girl is to behave like a wife on the sets. And next film comes next hero comes. This is the truth of the industry. Maybe, Jaya Bachchan was protected woman because she had a powerful man by her side. But what happened to Parveen Babi and Zeenat Aman, we also cannot deny those?

All that and more, in this headline-grabbing conversation.

Watch it below:

This seems like a tide, that is only going to go higher. And with someone as outspoken as Kangana on the other side, it is certain to go on.
