Actress Preity Zinta Also Expresses Her Anger Over The Beating Of Retired Naval Officer In Mumbai

After Kangana Ranaut, actress Preity Zinta has also expressed her disappointment and anger over the recent incident of a mob’s attack on a retired naval officer.

The retired officer was allegedly attacked by a few Shiv Sena workers and party activists, as he had shared some party-related meme on whatsapp.

The attack took place in Mumbai’s Kandivali and was partly captured on the CCTV footage of the veteran’s society.

Around 8 to 10 Shiv Sena workers have been arrested in regards to the same and some strong reactions have come in from different quarters on social media.

One of them is from the ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ actress and here’s what she’s been quoted saying:

Goons in Mumbai beat a 62 year old retd ???????? Indian Navy Veteran black & blue cuz he forwarded a political cartoon on what’s app. Seriously ? What happened to freedom of speech? What happened to respecting our veterans? Very upset & sad to hear this. This is NOT OK. #NavyVeteran

Shiv Sena is yet again front and center with some serious allegations against them, days after they were being nationally called out for their involvement in the demolition of actress Kangana Ranaut’s office in the city.

They clearly have a lot to answer now!
