Sushant Singh Rajput Case To Be Investigated By CBI, As Centre Approves Bihar CM’s Request

Since the day of Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, his fans, family members and well-wishers had been requesting the central government and Mumbai police of involving CBI into the matter.

The star was found dead at his home in Mumbai in the Month of June, which was followed by several allegations relating to his mis-treatment by the hands of Industry biggies and a nepotism-related angle, coined by a few industry insiders and colleagues.

After Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s recommendation on Tuesday, the centre has finally approved the request for CBI’s involvement into the matter, since the late actor’s family members had also raised a number of concerns with Mumbai police.

The centre has informed Supreme Court of it’s stand on the matter, for further probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation in the case.

Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti has also tweeted about the news stating the following:

“CBI it is!!! #JusticeForSushant #CBIEnquiryForSSR #CBIenquiry,”

Let us see where the investigations head now, as the probe will not be entangled in the conflict between two states.
