Sanjay Dutt Admitted To Hospital

Sanjay Dutt was admitted to a hospital earlier yesterday, after he complained of difficulty in breathing.

The 61 year old actor was taken to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday, due to shortness of breath – following which he also underwent the test for Covid-19 – which thankfully came out negative.

Although the actor is said to be doing fine now, he’d still be kept under medical observation for some time, before being released.

The actor also took to Twitter to inform his fans about his well being:

“Just wanted to assure everyone that I’m doing well. I’m currently under medical observation & my COVID-19 report is negative. With the help & care of the doctors, nurses & staff at Lilavati hospital, I should be home in a day or two.”

Here’s what the actor’s sister, Priya Dutt was quoted telling PTI:

“He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital around 4.30-5 pm for regular check-up as he was feeling a little breathless. They did a COVID-19 test and the result was negative. We have kept him in the hospital so that he gets all of his tests done. He has gone for a full check-up. I think he will come home on Monday.”

Here’s hoping for a complete recovery and homecoming for the actor!
