Sonu Sood, who came out as a messiah for labour workers, during the time of mass migration of thousands of labour forces from cities – during the start of the pandemic, has left a lasting mark in everyone’s hearts and minds.
The actor and now renowned social worker, has turned into a national hero of sorts, due to his assertive way of helping those in need, at multiple occasions.
Now in a grand gesture of gratitude, a humbled family of migrant workers has named their newborn son after the actor. The woman, who was pregnant during the painful episode of mass migration in India, was helped by Sonu – in reaching back to her home in Bihar, safely. She’s now a mother, and grateful to the actor for helping her in her journey.
The family was introduced to Sonu Sood, via a video conference during his latest appearance on the reality show – India’s Best Dancer.
The show’s team reached out to the woman, who lives in Bihar, which is when they revealed their child’s name, Sonu Chaudhary. The actor and humanitarian was seeing getting emotional, as the family showed their newborn to him.
Sonu Sood truly has a heart of gold.
