Although Kangana Ranaut has always made her voice heard, through those who represent her on social media (previously, her sister Rangoli and then her team’s official social media handles), but she has always shied away from personally being behind the keyboard to be her own representative on platforms like – Twitter or Instagram.
That changed today!
The National Award winning talent made her advent to the world of Twitter earlier this week and she certainly arrived with a bang.
Kangana has now officially taken over the twitter handle ‘Team Kangana Ranaut’ (renaming it to ‘Kangana Ranaut’) – which was being previously labelled as her team’s official handle, marking her big entry to Twitter.
The actress also uploaded a video announcing her entry in true ‘Bollywood Ishtyle’, stating how the powerful fan campaigns after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death introduced her to the power of social media, and inspired her to join the same.

Soon after her official entry, the hastag – #BollywoodQueenOnTwitter – became a top Twitter trend throughout the day, as thousands tweeted and welcomed the Queen of Bollywood to Twitter.
Kangana even acknowledge the warm reception she received after her arrival:

The new introduction to her updated Twitter account now reads:
“An Artist who is Recipient of Padmashri,Three national awards, highest grossing female centric films.Budding Filmmaker and a Wannabe environmentalist”
She also made it clear that she has not joined Twitter with any other agenda apart from ‘nationalism’, that her contemporaries and ‘rivals in showbiz’ are claiming.
बॉलीवुड वालों का कहना है, कंगना अपने अजेंडा के चलते ट्विटर पे आयी है। आज मैं यह साफ़ कह देना चाहती हूँ की हाँ मेरा अजेंडा है..

Would be interesting to see how ‘direct’ things get on Twitter now, with this Queen’s advent.
Welcome Kangana!
