After acting as a messiah for thousands of stranded labours across the nation and sending them back home in the desperate situation of nationwide lockdown, Sonu Sood shows no signs of stopping when it comes to helping out those in need.
The actor and model, who had garnered widespread praise for his work in arranging for multiple interstate buses to send labourers back to their homes, has now arranged for 1,000 migrant workers to be sent back to their hometowns through trains.
Sood arranged for confirmed tickets and reservations for people who were in a desperate need to head back, but did not have the means to do so.
Yet again, doing something, that the most rick and powerful of the country haven’t been able to do – despite hearing the plight of our labour forces, Sood has set a benchmark on how you have to go out and about to help those in desperate situations.
Sood also provided the departing migrants with meal boxes, sanitisers and marks, while he also visited the railway station to see them off.
Sonu Sood has turned out to be a blessing on the face of adversities. While most Bollywood celebs kept mum and at their homes, as labourers continued to die and suffer, travelling thousands of kilometres on foot, this man has shown everyone – how it’s done.
