While the whole nation is trying to fight the coronavirus pandemic, trying to stay indoors and following the guidelines issued by our leaders, when it comes to social distancing – a grave crime of a brutal mob-lynching has shook all of us to our cores.
Two saints were brutally assaulted and beaten to death by a mob on April 16th, near a village in Palghar, Maharashtra – giving rise to the age-old debate of ‘mob-violence’ in the country, which has already given lawmakers sleepless nights.
The deceased, identified as – Chikne Maharaj Kalpavrukshagiri (70), Sushilgiri Maharaj (35) were brutally beaten with sticks and stones, along with their driver Nilesh Telgade (30), when they were heading to Surat at night to attend a funeral. The mob alleged that they were taken out of their car and beaten by the angry crowd on suspicion of being thieves, but that is being interrogated.
Raising their voice in the wake of the inhumane act, a number of B-town celebs have also raised their concern over the barbaric nature in which the three men were lynched.
Here are some of those reactions:

How cn such an gruesome attack by such a huge crowd go unnoticed by @Palghar_Police ?
All the Sr. Police officials should b suspended & a new team should be appointed to investigate.

https://t.co/zzOs6AMD3L

Strongly condemn the violence that took the lives of 3 people in Palghar. Mob rule should have no place in our society and I hope the murderers have been arrested and that justice is delivered swiftly.
