Only a few days after unveiling the first look of her upcoming mega-budget biopic on Jayalalitha – ‘Thalaivi’, Kangana Ranaut is here with yet another highly anticipated movie of her’s – ‘Panga.’
The first official trailer of the Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directed flick has been released and it sees Ranaut in a never-before-seen avatar, donning the role of a middle-class home-maker – in pursuit of her forgotten dreams.
Made under the production of Fox Star Studios, the flick features Ranaut playing the role of Jaya Nigam – a 32 year old mother, who’s a former Kabaddi player – still lingering on the possibilities of her past.
The flick also stars the likes of Jassi Gill, Richa Chadda and Neena Gupta, in pivotal roles.
Iyer, who’s previously helmed critically acclaimed projects like – Nil Battey Sannata and Bareilly Ki Barfi, is known for her bitter-sweet, heart-rendering depiction of stories from the households of India’s working class.
After Queen’s Rani and Tanu Weds Manu’s Datto, it would be refreshing to see Kangana Ranaut, dwell into the mind of a small town girl again…
