Just this past week a video of internet sensation Ranu Mandal went viral, in which the aspiring singer was spotted getting angry at a fan.
Mondal could be seen expressing her anger after a female fan had touched her shoulder from behind, asking for a selfie.
Netizens found fault in Ranu’s behavior and pointed that the change in attitude may have come from the sudden ascend into stardom.
Days later, another video of the singer’s interaction with the media is going viral, in which she can be seen showing a little ‘starry-attitude’ to the reporters posing questions to her.
Mondal obnoxiously looks in circles as a media person asks her a question and later arrogantly tells the reporter that she ‘didn’t exactly hear’ what was being asked.

Granted Ranu Mondal isn’t someone who’s prepared for all that comes with being super-famous, one could give her a benefit of doubt and consider this ‘negative imagery’ being presented in the past couple of days, a media-construct.
There’s no doubt that when the press gets determined to make a ‘demon’ out of someone by hampering their image – if it makes for a good headline, they certainly have all the means to do so.
Having said that, it would be interesting to see how the next couple of days or months fare for this internet sensation, to determine for the general public – if she really does have a ‘star attitude’ now.
