Presently a team of cardiologists are looking after her and observing her medical condition.

Here’s what one of the doctors of the hospital was quoted while updating about her treatment:

β€œShe is serious. She has been kept under senior cardiologists and undergoing series of medical diagnosis.”

Meanwhile, close family members of the legendary vocalist have affirmed fans that she is doing better now and is presently in ‘recovery mode.’

Update: The doctors further state the Lata Mangeshkar’s condition is ‘critical’ and she’s on ‘ventilator’.

“She is suffering from pneumonia along with left ventricular failure. She continues to be critical, but there has been some improvement in her condition over the last few hours.”

The doctor further states:

“In this condition, the left side of the heart has to work harder to pump the same amount of blood.”

All we can say is – get well soon, Lataji. Wishing for a speedy recovery.
