SRK and Aishwarya Rai Save Her Manager After Her Lehenga Catches Fire During Diwali

Aishwarya Rai and Shah Rukh Khan played heroes to the actress’ manager after a terrible mishap that took place during a Diwali celebration.

It was at the Bachchan residence where a star-studded gathering was taking place on the occasion of Diwali, when Rai’s manager Archana Sadanand became the victim of a mis-happening.

At around 3:00 AM, Sadanand was leaving the party when she turned around to waive goodbye to the hosts and her friends, which is when her lehenga caught hold of a diya placed along the way and caught fire from it.

As the fire started increasing, nobody quite knew what to do, until Aishwarya herself came to the rescue and reportedly, ‘tore the lehenga’ off her body (Not entirely sure, if it was really ‘teared’ or ‘pulled off’ from her body).

Shah Rukh, who was also standing nearby, soon came into picture and offered Sadanand his sherwani to cover her body.

We aren’t entirely sure yet about the degree of injuries suffered by Sadananad, as she remains under medical supervision at the moment, but according to sources who were present at the venue – if it wasn’t for Aishwarya’s prompt action, the situation could have been much worse.

Sources also reveal, that Rai too had minor blisters on her hands while trying to get the lehenga off Sadanand, while it was on fire.

Straight out of a Bollywood movie, I tell ya. But glad nobody was seriously harmed.

Wishing Archana a speedy recovery and yes – bravo to Ash and SRK.
