The duo’s groundbreaking work on the unconventional story about a conventional Indian married couple, struck a resounding chord with the masses who applauded the realness they brought to their respective characters.
Nearly a year after the heartwarming family drama, the duo is set to return to the big-screen together, for yet another exciting project.
Neena and Gajraj will now be starring in the upcoming sequel for Ayushmann Khurrana’s Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, being released as ‘Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan.’
A source close to the making of the upcoming project was quoted telling the following to PinkVilla:
“Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao, who played the lead roles in Badhaai Ho, will be seen reuniting for Shubh Mangal Zyaada Saavdhan. The makers are yet to zero in on the second actor opposite Ayushmann in the movie.”
