Indian Transgender Model Naaz Joshi Gets Crowned Miss World Diversity 2019

It is raining beauty pageant titles in India it seems.

After UP’s Vidhisha Baliyan won the Miss Deaf World Pageant a few weeks ago – becoming the first Indian to do so, an Indian transgender model – Naaz Joshi has too found fame at an international beauty contest.

Joshi, has just been crowned ‘Miss World Diversity’ for the year 2019 – a competition specifically meant for transgenders.

The competition – which was held earlier this month in Mauritius saw Joshi defeating over 14 contestants from world-over – as she also got the titles for Miss Congeniality and Best National Costume, apart from winning the main crown.

Interestingly, this is Naaz’s third consecutive win at the competition – as she had also won in the year 2017 and 2018.
