The ace footballer has surpassed Lionel Messi to become the second-highest active goal scorer in international football, i.e., the 2nd overall active player with the most number of goals in international football.
That’s really big feat, considering, this puts him behind only Christiano Ronaldo – who’s the highest goal scorer at present.
Surpassing Messi’s goal-tally 68, Chhetri now has 70 goals under his belt, while Ronaldo sits at the top with 88 goals.
