Recent Study Says Women Are Happier Without a Husband & Kids

Who says you need a man to be happy?

At least not this recent study conducted by the American Time Use Survey (ATUS), which has actually indicated their single women happen to be a lot happier than their married counterparts.

The “study” compared the pleasure and misery indexes of married, unmarried, separated, widowed and divorced individuals.

The single people interviewed also reported of being less miserable than their married counterparts, while the married couples were found more inclined to rate their “happiness quotient” higher, while they were in the presence of their respective partners. (Ain’t that miserable?)

Paul Dolan, who’s a professor of behavioral science at the London School of Economics, also pointed out that while men benefited more from marital relationships, females mostly face health and happiness related adversities after tying the knot or having babies.

Although, we’re not entirely going to endorse the validity of this ‘survey’, but it is certain to help those who have been facing ‘marriage’ or ‘baby’ pressures from the people around them.

Just show this excerpt to those people. May be, you’re better off being single.
