2005-released Bunty Aur Bubli came at the time when Rani Mukerji was still being hailed as the reigning queen of Bollywood, delivering one after another stellar performances and box-office hits.
The actress’ pairing with Abhishek Bachchan in the Shaad Ali directed feature resulted into one of the most successful flicks of that year and gave us one of our favorite dance anthems of all time – ‘Karjra Re’, filmed on the beautiful, Aishwarya Rai.

14 years after the release of the flick, it seems Yash Raj is now planning to bring the lovable “stealing duos” back to the silver screen, with a sequel, to be directed yet again by – Shaad Ali.
According to early reports, the film might be called ‘Bunty Aur Bubli Again’ and will bring back both Mukerji and Bachchan, reprising their respective roles.
Inside sources were also quoted telling Deccan Chronical that the movie will hit the shooting floor, just next month.
Would be interesting to see what ‘Bunty Aur Bubli’ bring to the table this time around.
