Rang De Basanti actor Siddharth is one of those people who has never refrained from commenting on socio-political issues, even if they have been controversial enough to keep most other B-town stars at bay.
Choosing his Twitter handle to comment on most current affairs, hinting at his liberal view on politics the actor recently took a major jibe at Akshay Kumar, after the latter’s so-called ‘non-political’ interview with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Days after Akshay chose to have a one-on-one conversation with PM Modi on the most mundane and casual subjects (like how he likes to eat his mango), terming it a ‘non-political’ interaction with the BJP leader, Sid made a sarcastic post tagging US president Donald Trump – and asking him for an interview in similar lines.
“Hey Donald Trump, since you are getting ready to be re-elected soon, might I suggest an interview with me during your elections? I have crucial questions about how you eat fruit, your sleep and work habits and also your cute personality,” he tweeted on Friday night.
He closed the tweet stating ‘I have an Indian passport’ – perhaps hinting at the controversy surrounding Akshay Kumar holding a Canadian passport.
