In perhaps a gesture of ‘returning favors’, Shah Rukh Khan has readied to appear in a cameo role in “old friend” Salman Khan’s upcoming third sequel of ‘Dabangg.’
The ‘Swardes’ actor’s last box office venture ‘Zero’ also featured a cameo appearance by Salman, so this could easily be seen as an act of ‘giving back.’ Prior to that SRK himself had appeared in a small role in Salman’s ‘Tubelight’ and also appeared on his show, Bigg Boss to promote on one of his own movies.
A source close to the movie was also quoted giving the following details to a leading portal:
“Dabangg 3 has a few flashback portions which will trace Salman’s journey before he became the Robinhood of the area. There’s a character. It’s of a man who helps Salman during an important scene. The team was thinking of a few names when Salman decided to call his good friend Shah Rukh to shoot for it. Salman and SRK did a FaceTime call a few weeks back, which is when Salman asked him if he can make an appearance in D3. SRK happily said yes to it.”
The two “Khans” of box-office – who have had their shares of some up’s and down’s with each other, have been coming in terms lately, and their collaborative efforts are a proof of it.
Does this mean we might as well see a ‘Karan Arjun’ sequel later on.
We’ll just have to wait and see.
