Salman Khan Calls Himself A ‘Mediocre’ Actor, Praises SRK and Aamir For Their Talent!

Salman Khan may have one of the strongest fan followings in B-town right now, but despite all of his box-office record-smashers, there’s still an area he hasn’t quite been able to win over – the critics of his ‘acting’ abilities.

The 53 year old may have delivered a number of mega blockbusters, but apart from the several controversies and choices in his personal life, his talent too, has been in questions.

In a recent interview with DNA, the star admits to the level of his potential as an actor.

Here is what he told the publication:

“I’m surviving on mediocre talent and luck. Actually, I don’t know what I’m surviving on, but I’m surviving”.

Apart from being critical about his own acting chops, Salman also had a lot of praise for his fellow actors – Shah Rukh and Aamir, who’ve recently been bombarded with negative press following a few box-office duds.

Here is what he said:

“It is not as if Aamir or Shah Rukh are choosing bad or worse films. There are times when the movies I’ve chosen, to the best of my knowledge, haven’t worked. And then one film works and you’re back. SRK is a legend, as is Aamir. A bad movie here or there may happen, but they will always come back.”
