Shah Rukh Khan’s name has been synonymous with the word ‘Hit’ and ‘Success’ for longer than most of us can remember.
The 53 year old megastar, isn’t called ‘King Khan’ for nothing, and has managed to make it to the top of almost every annual list, compiling the richest and top earning stars of India, year after year.
But 2018 certainly told a different story.
In Forbes magazine’s latest compilation of the ‘richest celebrities in India’ in 2018, SRK dropped from his last year’s spot of #2 and chucked-out from the list altogether. At the same time, the actor was named among the most talked about Indian accounts on Twitter – along with the likes of PM Modi, Arvind Kejeriwal and Rahul Gandhi.
In a recent interview with Khaleej Times, the actor was yet again spotted showcasing his wit to respond to the list and his placement on the same, expressing how that’s just ‘the life of a star.’

Here is what he said:
“In the last three-four days I have found out that I have fallen out of a magazine’s list of rich people. I’ve become dearer on Twitter and poorer according to the (Forbes) survey. I just hope with this film (Zero) I become nearer! So dearer, poorer and nearer in one day! That’s the life of a star.”

While SRK’s last few movies, – Dear Zindagi, Raees, Jab Harry Met Sejal – may not have given him the kind of box-office-breaking outcomes, he’s come to be known for – the year ahead still looks promising for the iconic star as he gears for the release of his much anticipated love-triangle – ‘Zero.’
Making the most of Christmas holidays and New Year, the movie is slated for a release on the 21st of December.
