In the fad of remaking old Bollywood hits, particularly those from the 90’s – Rohit Shetty has brought together Mika and Neha Kakkar, to recreate Kumar Sanu’s 1996-hit, ‘Aankh Maare’ from the movie ‘Tere Mere Sapne.’
The remix is featured on Shetty’s latest offering – ‘Simmba’, which stars Ranveer Singh alongside Saif Ali Khan’s daughter, Sara Ali Khan.
While majority of the people in internet are loving the new twist given to this rehash, but for those die-hard Sanu-fans who wouldn’t take any other replacement of his voice, would also be in for a happy surprise.
The singer’s original portion from the track, gets plugged-in during the second half, with a special appearance from Arshad Warsi – who featured on the original video back in the day.
So does it hold up well like the recent remake of Sushmita Sen’s ‘Dilbar Dilbar’?
