“I Don’t Want To Turn My Kids Into Products” – Akshay Kumar On Keeping Them Away From The Limelight

While there are countless Bollywood star-kids who are willing to vouch for every opportunity to maintain their relevance, Akshay Kumar prefers to keep his kid away from the limelight.

The ‘Padman’ actor insists that he has no intention of turning his kids into ‘products of sorts’ and how he doesn’t like the idea of his kids, Aarav and Nitara Bhatia, constantly being clicked by photographers.

Here is what he was quoted as saying by Indiatimes:

“Mere bachchon ke bahut kam photos aatein hai, but honestly speaking, I don’t like [kids getting photographed] at all. That’s why I try and hide my children as much as possible.”

The Khiladi-Kumar further added in the same interaction:

“So, I will never bring my kids in front of the camera on purpose. I don’t want to turn them into products of sorts. But if we go out and photographers happen to spot us, they can click pictures. They click star kids’ pictures because they sell and newspapers/magazines print them. I am sure they aren’t doing it just for fun but because they get money for it.”

Akshay had previously also stated how he is not going to impose his own profession on his children and will give them the leverage to decide their professions based on their own areas of interests.

But as they say – only time will tell, if he actually walks the talk.
