Year after year, the festival of Diwali is raising questions about it’s contribution in already sky-high level of pollution, that seems to have taken a toll on the health of people living in metropolitan cities.
This year, even Supreme Court had to intervene – to curb the bursting of crackers by those who celebrate the festival.
Although it isn’t like Diwali-cracker-bursting is the prime reason for the air quality that remains poor throughout the year, but many environmental experts were concerned that it may just rocket the pollution level even beyond – leading the to apex court’s intervention.
So when someone like Amitabh Bachchan shared a few images of lighting up fire-crackers with his family during the occasion, internet couldn’t help but drag him for the same.

The superstar uploaded a number of images on his Instagram, in which, he, along with other members of his family – Aishwarya, Abhishek, Jaya and Araadhya – was seen holding a fuljhadi standing on their porch.
